Oklahoma Ghost Towns
Oklahoma Ghost Towns is a private project to research information on towns from Oklahoma's past. Some of these town are truly ghost towns and no longer exist, or have very little remains of the town and no population. Other ghost towns may be towns that still exist and have a small population, but are in such decline that at least 80% of its population no longer lives there.
This project is open to anyone with information about a ghost town to share. Any information such as pictures, news articles, first hand accounts, and stories are all welcome. Please use the blog pages contact form to submit information. Be sure to read our blog at okghosttowns.us.

- May have a few difficult to find foundations/footings at most
Neglected site
- Only rubble left
- Roofless building ruins
- Buildings or houses still standing, but majority are roofless
Abandoned site
- Building or houses still standing
- Buildings and houses all abandoned
- No population, except caretaker
- Site no longer in existence except for one or two buildings, for example old church, grocery store
Semi-abandoned site
- Building or houses still standing
- Buildings and houses largely abandoned
- few residents
- many abandoned buildings
- Small population
